SSF should support and encourage international collaborations between both university partners and university-company projects. There are many such opportunities waiting to be exploited for the benefit of Swedish strategic research but the present rules do not permit it. If not via SSF alone, some bilateral mechanisms should be actively pursued to enable such networks.
